I should be working on my report.

But I’m almost done and I found these old pictures.

All this lolling and hanging around just makes me think of holidays, good friends and times that are long past.

But that’s not to say I won’t someday find photos of all the amazing moments that are still to come.

“What if there are more heroes like him? What if courage and imagination became everyday mortal qualities? What will become of us?”

I needed to revisit the original Clash of the Titans before the new one hits the theaters (because this did make me go “Yes!” upon seeing the trailer).  I don’t think I ever got into it as a kid, which explains my retarded fixation with it as a grown-up; the whole time I was watching the movie I wanted to manufacture kaleidoscopes and figurines, make stop-motion battles and getting down to some serious double exposure exploits. And looking at the two-headed dog made me go for yet another long awaited revisit.

Damn you, Sam Worthington. You may play badass but Perseus you are not.

If you were 17, would you feel the same way?

But when I was 17, I liked thinking that people were really kind.  I’m not sure I even knew what kindness was; maybe I just made up my own mind about it, maybe I wasn’t able to define it outside of the realm spun by Belle and Sebastian and all of those dudes. It doesn’t really matter that much anymore.  You  see that not even birds are kind.

Above you have dermatological anatomies as seen in instructive pamphlets held today at Kyushu University in Fukouka, Japan.  I liked the caption on the above ones that spoke about “alien impregnation”. But some of these leaflets are really creepy.

March.

Spring starts next week! I know that means lots of rain and gross weather here, but the prospect of lolling around on the grass in the near future is difficult to not get excited about.
